Arizona Injury Law Group has focuses exclusively on workers’ compensation cases. Founders Weston S. Montrose and Briana E. Chua launched the law firm after representing injured workers’ together for over a decade at what was the then the largest workers’ compensation law firm in Arizona. Both Weston and Briana believe in fighting for the rights of the injured workers’. At Arizona Injury Law Group, our goal is to maximize the benefits our clients receive. This is why all of the attorneys in our office are not only experienced but are also certified by the State Bar of Arizona as certified specialists in workers’ compensation.
Our law office is committed to working hand in hand with clients throughout the entire claims and representation process. Team Members
Gina Valenzuela
Paralegal
Gina has been working as a Paralegal for the past 3 years. She graduated from Phoenix College in 2013 with her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. Gina is also bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. Several years ago, Gina’s mom was injured at work and had to navigate the Arizona workers’ compensation system. She learned firsthand how difficult and intimidating that can be, especially for those who do not speak English well, or at all. This experience has helped her work with clients at Arizona Injury Law Group PLLC. She enjoys football games and spending time with her family and dog, Fitzgerald.
MARISSA LOPEZ
Legal Assistant
Marissa has over 25 years of experience as a paralegal. She speaks both Spanish and English. Her interest in the legal field was sparked while she worked as an assistant at the LA County courthouse during high school. Since then, she has worked for a criminal attorney and then shifted towards workers’ compensation practice. In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband, driving around in his antique cars, cooking and swimming.
Linzy Bernal
Legal Secretary
Linzy was born in Jalisco, Mexico but came to Arizona as an infant. She graduated from ASU in 2021 with a political science degree. She is a Year up and AmeriCorps alumnae. She is the oldest of 4 children. Linzy’s personal experience allows her to understand how hard it is to navigate in a country when you do not speak the native language. She is fluent in English and Spanish and loves to travel. She has been to seven countries and hopes to visit a lot more in the future.
